A Central Marin man says a tantalizing array of fast-casual restaurants in the area has resulted in an official health prognosis – and he now believes he was misled by the industry. “Their focus on higher quality ingredients, even the simple fact that they are not cheap – it blinded me to more important factors,” said Derek Shiner. "Turns out the one to watch is 'cheeseburgers-ingested.'” But Shiner says his wellness journey does not preclude a visit to Corte Madera’s new Super-Duper. “I’m not going to let this prognosis keep me from welcoming a locally owned business with all-natural beef patties.”
