Taking in the seafront valley’s untrammeled beauty, Jacob Barr was unaware that a certain group of people who hate housing had prevented it from becoming a planned community called Marincello back in the 60’s. Then again, she would have thought (if in possession of that first bit of information), residents of the proposed town would inevitably have become ferocious NIMBYs themselves, so maybe everything had worked out okay?
