“Called orthorexia, it’s an obsession with nutritious, organic foods that’s often expressed as an inability to consume common ingredients or products – no seed-oils, nothing processed, and so on,” said nutritionist Mary Finleswan. “In Marin that’s just called, you know, dinner.” She added that while the dwindling roster of caloric inputs deemed acceptable in the county easily meet the eating disorder’s criteria, there’s no need to worry. “It’s the best one!”
