With Arrival of Rainy Season, Residents Once Again Decry Marin’s Lack of Cozy Infrastructure

Officials did not mince words in response to claims that Marin routinely fails to supply residents with warm, inviting indoor options that can soften the blow of seasonal affective disorder. “This region, being outdoor-oriented, is not focused on providing cozy establishments, ideally with wood panelling and/or a fire element,” said the county’s commissioner. “However, in addition to standbys like Buckeye, Pelican Inn or Poggio, that type of ambiance can now be found at Voyage in San Anselmo, as well as San Rafael’s Burren House.”
