With the cost of fuel in Marin now the highest in the nation, many couples say they’re reconsidering plans to rip their families apart. “When gas is just a few bucks a gallon, you don’t think twice about it,” said Sally Trinders, of Larkspur. She says she was looking forward to having her husband Tyler served this weekend, but will wait to see if prices at the pump drop this summer. “It's probably not realistic for us until the Straight of Hormuz reopens,” she added.
