Mill Valley Man Reaches Multiple-Bracelets Age

There comes a time in every Mill Valley man’s life, usually around 55 years old, when he must acquire and wear several beaded bracelets. Anthropologists don’t fully understand the phenomenon, but say the practice may be a kind of male menopause. “It could be a way to deal with changes in his body,” said one study. “A way of redirecting the eye, or even signaling sexual viability.” Tragically, however, the opposite effect is often achieved. “This specific adornment ritual is virtually unheard of in men outside of this age group, meaning that these accessories are only a confirmation of pending-senior status.”
