Often accused of only allowing one kind of person to live within its borders, the region recently took a moment to clarify its stance. “Anyone, from any background, is more than welcome to live in Marin," said the county's commissioner. "All we ask for is affluence – significant holdings, astronomical salaries. Preferably both.” Furthermore, he added, “as part of our non-discrimination policy, we also do not care where the money came from.”
