Yesterday marked the grand opening of Tartine in Strawberry Village, which the gluten-positive among us have been anticipating breadlessly since it was announced in March 2025. Tartine is known as a bakery, and it is indeed an excellent one. But leavened delectables are only the public-facing product of this enterprise, which is perhaps better described as a sophisticated transnational entity with incredible morning buns.
